The desire to give to the world the love of God takes its source in the Holy Spirit, and in the fruitful love of God for Himself. Love cannot keep silent! It is from the overabundance of our contemplation that must surge our thirst to evangelise. The magnificence we have seen, we crave to share it with the ones we love.

« What was from the beginning, what we have heard, what we have seen with our eyes, what we looked upon and touched with our hands concerns the Word of life for the life was made visible; we have seen it and testify to it and proclaim to you the eternal life that was with the Father and was made visible to us what we have seen and heard we proclaim now to you, so that you too may have fellowship with us; for our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. » (1 John 1, 1-3).

We found priories at the request of bishops. That is why the apostolic life of the brothers takes very different forms according to the needs of each diocese. For us, it is the matter of faithfulness to the promise we made when taking our perpetual vows: a life completely given out, in obedience and service to the Church.

Given the ideological climate of the modern world, intellectual confusions are a real misery of our time. This somehow novel poverty, the brothers try to debunk it by offering, wherever this is possible, a quest of philosophic, theological and mystical wisdom, aiming at reaching every man thirsty of meaning and truth. That is why our apostolic life assess often trough a personal encounter and dialog, by a teaching which tries to reach the other wherever he is, without trying to overimpose ideas.

Since the beginning of our presence here, our commitment has specifically targeted the youth and the poorest people settled in the vicinity of the ashram.
